Datelinehealth Africa Attends 38th Annual Health Week of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, College of Health Sciences, Nigeria

November 30, 2025. Ile-Ife, Nigeria: Datelinehealth Africa Inc. (DLHA) is delighted to announce that in furtherance of its Corporate Social Responsibility in Africa, it sponsored and participated in the 38th Annual Health Week of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, College of Health Sciences from November 25 – 27. 2025.

DLHA’s attendance objectives were:

  • To support medical students’ developmental activities and voice in healthcare, medical education and public health matters in Nigeria
  • Promote the brand to medical students and staff of the university
  • Enroll members and volunteers to support our organisation’s mission

DLHA was represented at the Health Week by Mr. Adebowale (Debo) Bello, a recent Microbiology graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. Debo has been a valued member and volunteer at Datelinehealth Africa since 2021. 

Debo was invited to speak in a fireside chat where he discussed how health communication and journalism can shape healthcare systems accountability and policy reforms in Nigeria.

Debo also manned the DLHA stand, introducing the organisation’s brand, vision, mission and goals to attendees in support of the objective to register members and volunteers.
